Ross Orchards is a beautiful piece of Montana history and sits just a bit southwest of Billings near Fromberg. It has produced a wide selection of delectable apples throughout four generations of ownership. Currently, John Walker Ross runs and operates the orchard's activities with help from his wife, Laura, and daughters Hillary and Elizabeth.

Some of the trees on his property have stood the test of time, surviving and thriving since the turn of the 20th century.
